This week the new Think Vitamin Membership site launched as Treehouse. On the site you can now earn badges, discover hidden Easter eggs and have fun.

If you don’t know what Treehouse is I would give it a look. They teach web design, web development and iOS better than anyone I know. Signing up is super easy and cheap for what you get. Heck, there is a lot of learning you can do in just one month if you are tight on the dough.

Firefox 8 Released

Is this the future of Firefox? My plugins will not work. What a shame. They need to get this fixed quickly. Yes Firefox I can’t let this go. Game plan? Don’t let old news become bad news.

The fact that I’m talking about this over your speed improvements is not a good sign. I can’t blog about your speed boost anyways. I need to download your new browser first. But, you break what already works. I wait.

jQuery 1.7 is alive

Today jQuery 1.7 came out. Be sure to update your Event API’s if you use .bind, .live or .delegate to .on and .off. The new .on() and .off() APIs unify all the ways of attaching events to a document in jQuery. This is a big but good change. The new API’s are much faster too.
